The Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) is a requirement for all deputies operating LPSO/emergency vehicles. As part of the training, deputies must successfully complete a driving course which involves numerous maneuvers and is timed to show proficiency. Several deputies have been partaking in EVOC recertification this week. Talladega Nights…….. CPD style. CPD officers spent the day sharpening and refining their driving skills at the Alameda Regional Training Center, on the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC). This type of training allows officers to practice such skills as Hazzard Avoidance; Code 3 driving, Pursuit driving and Serpentine courses.
