I lived at the Judge Rotenberg Center for 7 years where I endured abuse that they called treatment. Sometimes i would get a pass to go home, where i would feel so safe and feel relief. But then at the end of the weekend i would have to go back. The drive back there was especially excruciating but there was nothing me or my mom could do because the state and JRC had taken over my guardianship.
